I use LR for product photography.
I color balance during the initial processing.
If I need to dodge, the brush will paint a warm orangish tone when all the other sliders are at 0 into the area.
A recent development.
Any ideas?

Check that you don't have the mask overlay on (at the bottom of the image). Pressing the 'O' (overlay) key toggles this.

Only things I know that would cause this...
1. The Temp setting on the brush is a positive number (not 0) and thus warmer than the rest of the image.
2. The colour in question has been selected/applied in the Colour selection box at the bottom of the brush panel.
