Hi all, a quick question. I have recently decided to use the pay monthly option for LR and PS but since doing so my mac has started to run slower than normal. Would it benefit me to uninstall the old version of LR or would it not make a difference?
If so how do I do it :)

That should not make any difference.

Hi Theresa, welcome to the forum!

You could open Activity Monitor when it's going slowly and see what's happening. That'll be the quickest way of identifying likely suspects.

Hi Victoria, thank you for the welcome. I still don't know how to use the mac fully, I know how to do the usual everyday stuff emails, Facebook load photos and edit :) but I'll try and figure out how to do what you suggested.

If you go to Applications > Utilities, you'll find the Activity Monitor. It's a bit like Task Manager or Resource Monitor on Windows. It'll show you what's using the CPU, how much memory's in use, that kind of thing. It's useful information when things start to run slowly.
