I was given my first camera in 1957 a brownie box
In started work as a photographic technical at Cambridge University in the early 60s
I moved to Edinburgh University in 1966 and passed City and Guilds in commercial photography at Napier College I moved to Bristol University in the early 70s
I was using mostly Nikon Fs and had photos published in popular scientific journals such as Nature
In the late 70s I completely gave up photography to pursue a business flying hot air balloons
I sold my balloon business about 10 years ago and became interested in photography again I bought a D700 and now have a D800
I was early user of LR. Thanks to online videos by Matt Kowalski I became reasonably efficient
I am now fully retired but try, with difficulty, to my self up to date with the rapidly changing world of digital photography
My current passion is Landscapes and Seascapes
