you are quite right if you have a CC subscription you would not need it,as i do not have a CC subscription I thought I would try it out

I have downloaded on1raw and when I try to open it I get the following message
Open GL 3.3 and later req to open this application to work
Could any one tell me what Open gl3,3 is?

If you look at your import panel under Apply During Import - Metadata you probably have it set to none. Try Setting up a new preset that has Camera Info Enabled - based on the above reference you may need to...
I had this problem with Nikon 7000 and solved it by.
In library mode going to metadata at the top of the screen
From drop menu choose edit meta data presets
you need to tick the box camera info
then untick the box with GPS Data
