Exact Lightroom Version (Help menu > System Info): How do I get back to my original view? I don't want the people at this moment but if I click to now show nothing happens.

Your Toolbar is missing. The "T" shortcut key will reveal it. On the left are 4 icons Grid, Loupe, People and one other. Click on Grid icon
 
Got it! Thanks! You'd think by now I would remember...but the new People tagging came up and it started doing it and I couldn't get back to my photos!
