when I import from an iphone to LR, anyone know of an easy way to deselect the videos from the import? I know I can do it manually, but that can be very time consuming on a larger import.

As a follow up, anyone know of an easy way to delete all the photos and videos from my iphone once they are imported?

Thanks,

click import bottom lhs -- select device to import from -- images will pop on the screen -- scroll through the images and un-tick any you done want or; click deselect all -- click just files you wish to import -- click import rhs
maybe other ways but that's my way
last ? -- should be a delete button somewhere. be careful with format as that might remove everything .
if the phone uses a separate card for photos you could delete all files by putting the card into the computer

(my phone crashes LR if I try to import from phone so I use win10 to move pics to lappy and then import required pics to lr)

I down load my Iphone photos / videos to my computer outside of LR then sort into file types and then import photos in LR.

I use the iOS Lightroom application to sync/import the images I snap with my iPhone to my Lightroom (CC) catalog. All I have to do is launch the iOS application when I am connected to WiFi and the import happens automagically. There's a setting w/in the iOS app to exclude videos which, now that you remind me, I should turn back on. :)
