Publishing to Flichr not active?

Suddenly when I drag an image to Photostream the Publish Button is not active. Any ideas? Thank you.

It is the same process as when you initially set up the Publish service. Open the Flickr Publish Services settings. In the second section labeled "Flickr Account" you will see whether your Publish Service has been authorized at Flickr or not. There is a button to "Authorize" If this is indeed the case.

Let's try to find out what is broken. Is perchance the image file missing? Can you drag other images to the Flickr album? Are you grabbing the image by the center of the images and not the gray border around it?
IF the albums in the Flickr publish service a Smart Collection or a Standard static Collection?

Care to create a screen shot showing the Flickr Publish Service AND an image in Grid view that you want to publish bit can't?

Per your suggestion I grabbed another image, dragged it to Photostream and the Publish button came alive , clicked on it and received this message from LR: Can't update this collection. LR authentication failed.

By the way. The image I originally tried to upload to Flickr now shows on the LR Photostream but not on the Flickr Photostream. weird.

@clee01l Well I still do not know what the original problem was. What I did was to de-authorize LR and the try to re-authorize it. That took time because of my ignorance. As I was going thru the process I was glossing over a step in the sequence. I finally figured that one out and all is well now. I apologize for being dense, a mind is a terrible thing to lose. Thank you for your help.
