Advice for aspiring wedding photographer website.

Hi guys ! I'm new on here but wanted to ask if anyone could send me a link to another forum question similar to this. Basicaly did my first wedding the other day and need to start a website to provide my clients with a easy way to download files and for potential clients to check out my work. Any advice will be greatly appreciated thank you so much

So tell us a bit more about what you have in mind. Do you want them to be able to send you a list of images, or download the full resolution ones, or what do you have in mind? And is this going to be in addition to your business website, or something that needs to "wear all the hats" as it were? Do you plan on buying your own hosting and managing the software yourself, or would you like a site that someone else looks after, and you just have to upload pictures to?

That's basically what I'm asking. I'm not sure where to start. I just want a site where I can upload the photos that I took for them to choose and download and then take what they download to the printing store. If I could also have a site to advertise my photography with a bunch of my favorite best photos and some info about me that would be great too. I don't know if they would have to be desperate or if there could be a place inside my personal site where you could click and access the photos from specific events.

You might like to start with looking at Zenfolio or SmugMug. They're both popular options with similar functionality, as they deal with a lot of the technicalities for you, albeit at a cost.
