Hierarchical Keywords structure ideas (parent / child options)

Would be easier to create a structure of collections and collection sets and just drag and drop the images into the collections? No typing of keywords in 75K images.

When do we see LR 10.4?

I was asleep at the wheel on that one. Indeed we could do Universal starting in June.

When do we see LR 10.4?

For those using an Apple Silicon machine, the August release of LrC and CR are both Universal mode apps! So your machine no longer needs to do Rosetta II emulation for the 3 Adobe photo apps: PS, LrC, and CR!

Noise apps = higher ISO settings?

So amplify the signal in camera using higher ISO setting or, amplify the signal in post production via Develop/ACR. So it is a question of which path gives the best signal to noise ration when completed.

Noise apps = higher ISO settings?

For me the reason to use higher ISO is so my shutter speed can go high enough to freeze action in wildlife. I can see knowing the invariance ISO value that should be max ISO if shooting still images. That is good to know. For most of my shots I need a focused image with frozen action...

Noise apps = higher ISO settings?

I wonder if invariance is in, at least part, a function of sensor size, pixel size, and pixel density on the sensor.

Noise apps = higher ISO settings?

Before the days of powerful noise reduction software (NoNoise, DeNoise..etc.). There was a limit you would push you camera’s ISO setting to give you max shutter speed for shooting sports, wildlife…etc. With the new noise reduction software apps, how much further are you pushing your camera ISO...

    Old imac to new imac

When I moved to my M1 Mini late last year I simply restored Macintosh HD from Time Machine. All my images were on seperate external SSD set so no need for them to be restored, I just moved the TB3 cable from the old iMac to the new Mini. I connected a 32" wide gamut to the Mini.

    On1 launches NoNoise AI plugin

How sad that Adobe seems to be giving away the advanced sharpening and noise reduction market area. It is not as if they don't have the resources to build those features. Those other companies are tiny compared to Adobe.
