Printing Problems

I know I must be missing something really simple because I can't seem to find anything on the web about my problem.
I am trying ,for the first time, to print two different 5x7 prints on one sheet of A4 Easy thought I just open a picture package select 2 7x5 centered from the template browser, select two pictures in the film strip and bingo. But I get two pages with the two pictures twice, on separate pages.
This is in Lightroom CC in Windows 10
Any help would be gratefully appreciated

A picture package is for multiple copies of the same image on one page. You need to use the third option: the custom package.

Even simpler-
Use the "Single Image/Contact Sheet" option and set:

Landscape Paper and 'Images Side by side': Columns=2 Rows=1
Portrait Paper and 'Images top & bottom': Columns=1 Rows=2
