This is probably getting old but Google didn't do me any good there.
There's a ton of metadata that can be assigned to a photo in LR. However, only a handful of those fields can be searched through with the software. I'm talking about the Library Filter > Text. As it turns out, "Any Searchable Field" is *far* from 'every field'. There must be a plug-in out there because in the drop down menu there's also the option: Any Searchable Plug-in Field.

I'm looking for something in the area of 10 bucks or less. Win7. LR 4 - 64 bit. Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

Looks promising but to make sure I'm not wasting any more of my time can anyone confirm that version 1.9 works with LR4-64 bit on Win7 Pro 64-bit?
I've "installed" it and had LR update my catalog. 'Any Filter' appears in the plugin manager but that's about it. I have nothing in 'Plug-in Extras'. If I wanted to buy and register this filter I wouldn't even know where to enter the code. I think that it's not compatible with what I have.

It works fine with LR4 under Win 7, 64-bit.

Look for it in Library->Plugin Extras, not File->Plugin Extras:

    John's documentation looks pretty good.
