Adjustment brush

    Windows 7 64-bit
    I'm trying to darken the background on a photo. I want to change it from a gray to black. I know how to use sliders to do most things in adjustment brush, but I am only getting red color in different shades, according to flow setting,etc. When I go to custom and select "burn", I still get red. Help.

    Turn off the overlay...... hit O.
