    Can't Burn Photo's to DVD/CD

    My first post....please be gentle

I cannot burn pics to the cd. I have done tests, and the drive is fine. When I go to "export" pictures,, I get an error message that states "could not read disk in drive E"..."please insert a recordable disk".

    I'm sure it's something simple...but can't put my finger on it. I've tried CD-R, and DVD-R's.

    Thanks in advance,

    Eric D.

    Hi, welcome to the forum.

Just checking that you are using blank discs?

Actually, yes....and no. I did manage to get one pic burned over to cd, but then got the error message when trying to export more. I also formatted cd's and tried with no luck.

Hi rctrusa, welcome to the forum! Don't worry, we're always gentle!

Are you exporting all of the pictures to the cd in one go, or are they separate exports? The latter could explain the problem.

Ah, ok, so the first export is making the cd unwritable. If you select all of the photos and export them in one go, it should work ok.
