I am in the process of moving my photos from the computer internal hard drive to an external drive. However, Lightroom does not recognize my external drive. The Windows OS sees it, but Lightroom does not. Any suggestions?
Kim you first need to add a parent folder to the folder panel. Click on the (+) on the right end of the Folder header and choose {Add Folder...} from the Context menu. Navigate to the external drive an add a folder that will become a top level (parent) folder for LR, You can then drag folders from the local drive to the EHD using the folder panel in LR.
