Anybody using this combo?

I think the best (or acytually ONLY way) to do it: import files from camera or card in a folder (not in LR). Let DxO chew on them. Then import the (Tiff's by then) into LR.

What is the LR-plugin feature in DxO do actually?

I've had to use this combo for a customer recently - they specifically wanted DXO lens adjustments, but I want to use LR for colour/density adjustments.

Solution I've used - view original files in DXO, make automatic lens/noise/sharpening adjustments in DXO and export to DNG. Note these are linear DNG's (big!) not standard DNG's, and I also had to make a couple of other adjustments using a DXO preset (which I can dig out if you want them) because the DXO DNG's are more saturated and have slightly blocked shadows when imported into LR otherwise. Then import into LR and work as normal on those DNG files.

Thanks again! I am not using your suggestion, but want to make DxO my FirstPassConvertor. I have tried several times to beat DxO: I've lost.
So: let DxO produce DNG snd LR will be happy with them?

It will, although they'll be big because they're linear not normal raw.
